Glass Bead Earring Pairs 9.26.14

Did you know that one of the most common requests of glass bead makers is Earring Pairs?? Jewelry Designers love small, lightweight, handmade glass bead pairs because they don't require a huge investment in money or time to make the earrings, but the payoff can be nice.  And when you are selling more pricey jewelry, it's nice to have a few lower priced pieces such as earrings in your booth. And... the earrings make great gifts!

Check out Holly's Folly Glass' A Year of Earring Pairs made to order in three different shapes on Facebook.

Unusal Glass Beads 9.12.14

If you love glass beads, you know that lampwork artisans can make some of the most unique beads around. As tools have advanced, so have the possibilities for hot glass artists. One example is the glass cabochon. Previously these were cold worked and melted in the kiln. But now there are cabochon mandrels that allow for hot work designs. Check out this glass cabochon by Sue Beads:

Make two similar necklaces to allow for a cohesive look in your sales booth...or how about at the ends of a lariat style chain?? Not matter how you use these, it's sure to be beadutiful!!!
